Thanks RoughlyDrafted

One of my favorite blogs, Roughly-Drafted, has an excellent post concerning of all of the rubbish that British journalism is fostering upon their readers. This especially includes the BBC, who's bias against Apple can be easily gleaned by just reading their headlines. Well, fortunately, other media, including Tom Reston's, 'The Small Wave,' 'Fixyourthinking' and 'RoughlyDarfted' etc. are around to expose these 'blithering' excuses for journalists. Case in point, as reported by RoughlyDrafted:

"Daniel Eran Dilger
The BBC has joined the London tabloid press in printing a series of articles skewering Apple over invented suppositions based entirely upon misinformed speculation and some outright lies. The worst part is that the BBC is being grossly hypocritical in its misinformation campaign against Apple, because the company is up to its eyeballs in the Microsoft-encrusted scandal surrounding its proprietary, Windows-only iPlayer imbroglio."

Roughly Drafted continues, "Beyond Spin: Bill Thompson Wades Through BBC Hypocrisy to Spread False Information.
It's bad enough that the BBC needs to bend facts to support fear, uncertainty and doubt about the iPhone. Now consider that the BBC--as a public corporation funded by British TV license taxes--is building its web video strategy on failed, proprietary technology propped up by an internationally convicted monopolist. At the same time, its publishing a uninformed rant based on speculation and conjecture that accuses Apple of doing things that approach the gravity of its own activities."

RoughlyDrafted exposes Thompson's Specious Attack on Apple, his lies on Apple's ringtones, Linux's music management, etc. and I'm glad they are reporting it, as I find Bill Thompson so faulty in his assumptions and conclusions that I, for one, can't bear to read any more of his dribble. Dribble so infested with an anti-Apple bias that Its enough to make my stomach queasy and the veins in my forehead pop and explode all over the place and messing up my little blogs appearance.

So, in conclusion, to all you great bloggers out there who have the stomach and fortitude to battle against the likes of these lousy reporters, like those of the British press.... my sincerest thanks! You are providing us all with an invaluable service ...... a service called ..... THE TRUTH!

Keep up the good works Roughlydrafted, The Small Wave, Fixyourthinking and all you other brave blogging souls out there.

I salute you.

And thats my 2 cents on lousy and bias reporters and those valiant and brave bloggers, who, with their words expose them, 4 this Thursday, September 20, 2007. (Wow, this must be my longest sign-off ever!)
