One of my all-time favorite blogs, Fixyourthinking, will sometimes just post an interesting picture or photograph and it inspired me to introduce a new feature that I hope all two or three readers of my blog will enjoy. I call it: 'Pict 4 the Week.'
Pick 4 the Week, will, I hope, feature a picture that is as strikingly beautiful and thought provoking as the picture above, 'Resting Souls,' from Pete Vass-Photographical Life Art's photos. Of course, I can only post one pic, so you will have to visit his Flickr page (see link below) to view more of his excellent work.
The above photo is extremely beautiful! I just love how those rays pierce not only the fog, but my very soul. It is, at the same time, both hauntingly beautiful and, as well, equally thought provoking. I can't help but wonder who those resting souls where? What where they like and the lives they that they lived?
The photo itself was shot in my home town of Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, a small but beautiful city of about 122,000 people, and when I'm there, 122,001.
So, if your moved the way I am about Mr. Pete Vass's beautiful photography, then, by all means, take the time to visit his excellent collection at his Flickr page for even more of the same.
And thats my 2 cents on my new 'Pic 4 the Week feature, 4 this Tuesday, October 2, 2007.
