Today's post will be a short one, but thanks to those clever folks over at The Onion, it will be a very funny one. By clicking on their web site, or by clicking on the YouTube video above, you can see a really cool and funny spoof of Apple's newest and greatest innovation - a MacBook with virtually no keyboard, one that will, no doubt, would qualify it also as the funniest, or weirdest MacBook ever!
That's right, as you can see, someone went to a considerable amount time and effort to produce an amazing fake news report of a MacBook that doesn't need any keyboard what so ever. Instead, this video shows how one can type simply by rotating the click wheel, and if you ever get really good at spitting out words with this baby, well, then your a better man or woman than I. This thing is nothing that speed-typists will have to worry about putting them out of business anytime soon, trust me. Of course, that's the whole point - this is a spoof and a damn good one if you ask me!
This spoof is very professionally done, and all I can say is bravo to the producers! This thing looks absolutely amazing and looks as real as it looks silly and utterly impractical! My favorite part of the video is the last part, when a reporter asks the question if this new 'no keyboard' laptop will ever catch on with big business - his answer is as priceless as it is funny, so I won't spoil it for you. So, by all means, if your into humor and like laughing out loud, then I guarantee that this spoof, done at Apple's expense, is just what you looking for!
